The Fairly OddParents

Timmy Turner — an ordinary 10-year-old boy, lives with his parents in the provincial town of Dimmesdale. He has a boring life, being looked after by a babysitter, a rude and mean teenage girl, Vickie. But everything changes when Timmy learns that his fish Cosmo and Wanda (later also Poof and Sparky) are actually fairies, husband and wife, assigned to him as magical patrons. Timmy quickly learns that his patrons are able to fulfill his every wish (with some restrictions). Timmy's inexperience in certain matters sometimes leads to making wishes that inadvertently turn into a disaster, and he and his patrons must find a way to kindle his desire.
In the course of the story, Timmy, among other things, also gets enemies. His nemesis, the schoolteacher Mr. Crocker, in contrast to other adults, firmly believes in the existence of fairies and has been searching for them for a long time. He is a potential danger to Timmy, because according to the "Da Rules" (a thick rulebook describing what children can and can't want, and what magical patrons should do), if an outsider discovers the patrons, he is separated from them forever.
Also in the series is a character named Jurgen Von Strangle a large and tough patron who has a personal dislike for Timmy and his guardians. He is the creator of the wonder world.
